Last year, the Cooper Foundation had the privilege of serving as the charitable foundation for Give Raleigh, and the response was an incredible reminder of what can happen when a community comes together around a shared purpose.
Together, we brought businesses, nonprofits and individuals around one mission. Through that collective effort, we were able to provide grants to our nonprofit partners, helping people across Wake County access the urgent support they need to remain housed, safe and stable.
That is what the Cooper Foundation is here to do: bridge the gaps. To connect generosity with organizations doing meaningful work on the ground and help ensure that one missed paycheck, unexpected expense or difficult season does not become a housing crisis.
Following the success of last year’s campaign, we are honored to have been selected once again as Give Raleigh’s charitable foundation of choice.
Kicking off Sept. 1, Raleigh Magazine and the Cooper Foundation, in partnership with Pinnacle Financial Partners, are bringing Give Raleigh back to support seven local nonprofits working every day to keep Wake County families housed, safe and stable.
Last year, together we raised a grand total $118,180, with our founder matching half of the funds raised through the campaign.
This year, let’s show just how much more we can do.
Because when we come together, even $10 can make a difference.
