Today, we celebrate the Cooper Charitable Foundation as it receives TCREW’s Outstanding Public Service Award. John Cooper started this foundation with the goal of helping people and families afford stable housing. After two years, it has helped house 279 people, including 135 children through partnerships with Wake Tech Foundation, The Women’s Center, The Caring Place, Family Promise of the Triangle, Henderson Collegiate, Oak City Cares, Healing Transitions, and the Lotus Campaign.
